On Friday, March 9th Library UX held an event at Loyola University’s Water Tower Campus on assessing instruction. There were four lightning round presentations discussing different methods and techniques for doing meaningful assessment in a variety of instruction settings – even one-shots!
Presentations: Assessing a Peer Teaching Program, Frances Brady, Adler University The Minute Paper, Jane Currie, Loyola University Assessing Pre-instruction Activities: Low-Stakes Quizzes, Jeannette Moss, Northwestern University Peer Observation Programs, Michelle Oh, Alyssa Vincent, Northeastern Illinois University Following the lightning rounds we had small group discussions about to share ideas and get feedback on a variety of topics around instruction assessment.
